It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the 2008-2009 season for Steinway Society the Bay Area. Our artistic committee has put together an incredible line up of artists and we recently received a glowing season announcement review from Richard Scheinin of the San Jose Mercury News.

In addition to a wonderful concert season, Steinway Society is continuing its tradition of hosting the Midsummer Music Youth Camp for young musicians. Now in its third year, the camp is a weekend intensive program providing workshops, master classes, and presentations. The event concludes with an orchestral concert featuring violin, cello and piano.

And, we are extending our reach in the community working with After School Allstars to provide the Henry A. Schiro Music Literacy program in additional inner city schools beginning fall 2008.
