I am delighted to announce our upcoming season 2011-2012 with a superlative line of highly accomplished and renowned pianists. John Perry will launch our season in September with a program of popular works from three of the greatest piano composers Bach, Beethoven and Schubert. Five spectacular pianists will follow: Adam Neiman and Jonathan Bass have appeared with us before and are back by popular demand; Greg Anderson recently made his debut on our piano series in February where he delighted audience members with a refreshing and interactive approach. He is returning with his partner Elizabeth Joy Roe in a duo piano recital which promises double the excitement. Vassily Primakov and Di Wu are two hot young pianists with lots of personality and ingenuity who are building enviable reputations in the international classical music scene.
If you are new to our recital series and love piano music, you cannot miss our up-close and personal performances in the jewel-box concert hall - Le Petit Trianon. This unique historical theatre has the perfect acoustics to bring out the brilliance and soulful sound of the exquisite Steinway and Sons concert-grand. The intimacy of this hall invites a true connection between the performer and the audience and our artists take advantage of that. Many of our artists talk from the stage about what inspires them and offer delicious morsels of personal information that elevates one’s listening experience. You will also have the opportunity to meet and greet our artists post-concert and have your CD and program autographed.
