Piano Duo Gwendolyn Mok & Mack McCray
To Perform in San Jose

San Jose, California -- Steinway Society the Bay Area announces the booking engagement of piano duo Gwendolyn Mok and Mack McCray for a performance on Sunday, November 7th at 7:00pm at Le Petit Trianon Theatre in downtown San Jose, California.

Gwendolyn Mok, a recording artist for EMI and Nonesuch, has appeared in many of the world’s leading concert halls, including Carnegie, Avery Fisher, Alice Tully, the Kennedy Center, the Barbican, and the Hong Kong Performing Arts Center. She has also performed and recorded with major international orchestras, among them the London Symphony, the London Philharmonic, the Hong Kong Philharmonic, and the Beijing Philharmonic.

Mack McCray has been soloist with numerous national and international orchestras, including the San Francisco Symphony, and with such conductors as Michael Tilson Thomas, Edo de Waart, Leon Fleischer, and Arthur Fiedler. A prize-winner at various competitions, his spectacularly successful international tours have included performances at London, Vienna, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Brussels, Zurich, Spain, Italy, Tokyo (as featured soloist at the Gershwin Centennial Celebration), Korea, and China. His recordings made the Best Recordings of the Year? lists for both the New York Times and High Fidelity.
