Steinway Society Announces Expanded 2004-2005 Concert Season
to be held at the Le Petit Trianon Theatre in San Jose
Steinway Society The Bay Area announces the 2004-2005 concert season to be held at Le Petit Trianon Theatre, located in downtown San Jose. Nine pianists will perform a total of eleven concerts, with single ticket prices ranging from $25 for students to $35 for general admission. Special six-concert packages are offered from $89 for students to $149 for general, as well as nine-concert packages from $119 to $189.
The Steinway Society is a nonprofit volunteer based organization whose mission is: To promote excellence in piano performance and music education in the Bay Area. The Steinway Society has grown to become one of the Bay Area’s foremost arts organizations. Empowered by a highly motivated volunteer Board of Directors, it continues to offer the Bay Area the highest quality performing artists.
This season also features the new Steinway D nine-foot concert grand, as well as the beautiful Versailles courtyard. These are but the latest improvements in the already excellent Theatre and grounds.
Founded in 1993, the 2004-2005 season promises to be the best ever for the Society. In addition to offering the core series of excellent classical piano music, this year introduces three additional concerts, ranging in genre from classical-oriented living composers, to American music, and Brazilian Jazz.
