Steinway Society To Participate In St. Joseph’s Cathedral’s
"Season of Hope Cathedral Performance Series"
SAN JOSE, California -- Steinway Society The Bay Area announces their participation once again in St. Joseph’s Cathedral’s "2003 Season of Hope Performance Series." Steinway Society will present Patric Nikolas in the series Saturday, December 20th concert at 7:00pm.
Continuing its proud history of nearly 200 years of service in the center of San Jose, the Basilica of St. Joseph presents its 7th annual Season of Hope. Each evening from December 12th through the 23rd, inside the magnificent splendor of St. Joseph’s Cathedral, artists from Santa Clara County/Bay area will inspire hundreds of audience members attending different downtown San Jose Attractions.
Nikolas is an award-winning jazz pianist, and an accomplished teacher in demand. He graduated with a BA in Music Performance from California State University at Chico. Patric is a board member of the International Russian Music Piano Competition, and a member of Steinway Society’s education committee. An up-and-coming player on the solo concert scene, his eclectic no-holds-barred performances are not to be missed. Patric’s first CD, Neither Saint nor Sage, features the MTAC 2001 1st prize award winning composition, Trance and Substance. He currently lives in Willow Glen, where he runs 1122 Music, the composition and teaching practice he founded. Nikolas has selected six pieces to perform:

Steinway Society The Bay Area is a non-profit volunteer based organization whose mission is "To promote excellence in piano performance and music education in the Bay Area". Entering its tenth season, Steinway Society will present a six concert series during the 2003-2004 Season.
